Somethings are forever, and Mocambo certainly is. The dim red hued lights, the leather couches, the courteous attendants, the interesting menu, and most importantly the amazing food together spell magic.
Last night I was in the mood for some seafood. So for appetizers we had their legendary Pepper Crab. For mains I had their Seafood Risotto while my friend had a Fish Steak. The risotto was creamy, cheesy and perfectly seasoned, however the rice used was long-grained, and wasn’t the perfect choice for a true risotto.
For desserts we had the Baked Alaska, which looked splendid and tasted decent too. But more than the taste, the theatre of the flambé is what makes me drawn towards it.
Can never fall out of love with this place.
