A Sunny Sunday at Serafina

Serafna is one of my favorite fancy places to eat out in the city. The food here is amazing, and they certainly know how to make some mind-blowing risotto. The meats, in dark, rich, caramelized glazings are every meat-lovers’ dream come true. The desserts too are elegant, specially their signature tiramisu with an ample punch of coffee. This is the perfect place for a dinner date. It might be a little pricey, but definitely worth every penny.

And recently they have started the Big Apple Sunday Brunch at 999/-++ and it is every bit worth getting out of bed on a Sunday. And for the wide variety of food on offer, the price is extremely pocket-friendly.

A few weeks back when I went to try out the Brunch here on an invitation, I was a little sleepy, a little flustered with the heat, a little upset that the next day is a Monday. But the Pesto Spaghetti interspersed with sips of the wine did it’s usual magic and compelled me to  pep up.

I customized my omelettes and salads according to my mood before moving on to the bruschettas and cripy chicken and calamari fries. But without lingering for long I moved on to the pizzas and pastas. But my heart was longing for the sweet thrills that their desserts provide and like every single time, their Tiramisu mesmerized me again. Aaah! It will be unfair to not mention the creme with the perfect snap but then, oh, the the tiramisu was the sweetest edible dream possible.

The Sunday Brunch at Serafina is truly a steal for lazy bums who oversleep on Sundays and miss their breakfast and are too lazy to fix a lunch. It’s perfect for a happy Sunday with the family, and with ample options across both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus, the brunch is sure to make everyone happy. And oh, it’s perfect for that little lunch out with your girl gang too, because pizza is a favourite Adda catalyst of mine.

Happy Brunching😃!
