Loved the #outdoorsy feel of the place without being sultry. The #cocktails, Shanghai Martini and the #G&T, were well-made and #refreshing. Of the food, the penne pasta with parmesan cappuccino, was noteworthy. Egg Salad for Dinner Fixing a happy meal is almost therapeutic for me. This was what I had for dinner a few nights back. A simple egg salad with homemade sun-dried tomatoes, pickle and a mayo-kasundi-honey dressing 🙂 #salad #eggs #dinner #happy #BiteChompGulp

Sun-dried Tomatoes in Ten minutes 😃🍅 #RecipePost I love sun dried tomatoes but I hate how expensive they generally are. The traditional way of making it sounds pretty pain staking, and a new shiny microwave oven was waiting to be experimented with. Hence, after a few trial and error goes, I managed to make the perfect jar of sun-dried tomatoes 😎 Things I used: 1. 12 tomatoes, not too ripe 2. Salt 3. Olive Oil How I made it: - Wash and Halve the tomatoes and scoop out the central seedy, mushy part out. (You can always use them in Curries) . - Arrange the tomatoes on a greased tray, with cut side down. . - Microwave on High for a total of 10 minutes. Take them out on the five minutes mark, to let out the steam, Pat down the skin or turn them around without squishing them. . - Let it cool and transfer to a sterilized, air-tight jar. Add in some salt and olive oil to preserve them better. . . . Not exactly sure how long it stays without any preservative. But I kept them for around 5 days and they were still perfect. Can't wait to make a bigger batch very soon 😃 Note: Do not add any salt before it is actually dehydrated, as it slows the process. #tomatoes #sundried #homemade #salad #ohsogood #diy #BiteChompGulp
